I joined Double Negative in May 2008 as an HR Administrator as they had no other positions available but soon moved into the rotoscope department. I used Double Negative's inhouse software to rotoscope and had the opportunity to learn Shake and explore a little of Maya. Since then we have of course moved to Nuke and I'm now a lead compositor with lots of knowledge of the software.

Throughout my time at university I have had the chance to use many different software packages, including Adobe Photoshop, Softimage XSI, Discreet Combustion, Apple Final Cut Pro, 2D3 Boujou, Apple Shake, Autodesk 3DS Max, Steinberg Cubase, Toon Boom, and Adobe After Effects. I am most familiar with Microsoft Windows but have some experience using both Apple OS X and Linux operating systems.

I have used Photoshop and XSI for the past four years and Combustion for the last two. I have a good knowledge of these as well as Final Cut Pro and Microsoft Office applications. I have a years experience using Boujou, Cubase, Toon Boom and After Effects and have recently completed a couple of courses where I used Shake and 3DS Max.

While studying Visualisation I also learned how to program in C and studied graphical mathematics, getting an A for both modules. I have built and upgraded my own computer for the past four years and sorted any problems I came across during the process.
